Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains how the txtGod iOS app (“the app”), published by Elite Performance Exclusive LLC (“we”), handles information. It applies to the app only.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics software, no advertising software and no third-party trackers. It does not transmit your reading, your notes or your usage anywhere.
This is not a promise about intent — it is a property of how the app is built. The app makes no network requests of its own, and its App Store privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking domains.
What stays on your device
- Your notes, highlights, tags and bookmarks. Stored locally in the app's own storage.
- Your reading position and reading progress. Which chapters you have marked read.
- Your preferences. Translation, text size, voice and speed.
- The Bible text itself. All four translations are bundled inside the app, which is why it works with no connection.
Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy of it and no way to retrieve it, so please note that deletion is permanent.
Reading aloud
The read-aloud feature uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis. The verse text is spoken by your device and is not sent to us or to any speech service.
Photos
If you choose one of your own photos as a background for a shared verse image, the app reads that photo only to compose the image you asked for. The photo is not uploaded anywhere. The app has no access to your photo library beyond the single picture you pick.
Sharing
When you share a verse or a verse image, iOS hands it to whichever app you choose — Messages, Mail, or another. What happens to it after that is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not ours.
Purchases
Subscriptions and optional tips are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, payment card, or billing address. The app asks Apple whether a subscription is active; that answer is the only purchase-related information it holds, and it is not linked to any identity.
Optional tips support the app's continued development. They are not charitable donations, are not tax-deductible, and unlock no additional features.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data a company holds about you. Because we hold none, there is nothing for us to disclose or delete. The data the app creates is yours, on your device, under your control. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be stated plainly here and in the App Store privacy details before the change ships.
